I’ve been enjoying baking, cooking, and interior decorating for over 15 years. It all began with the news of my first child. I desired to provide my children with fulfilling and quality food. Since then I have nearly every day self-studied baking and cooking.
Over the years I have further expanded and honed my skills through both formal education and business experience. I hold a Diplôme de Pâtisserie (French Pastry Diploma) from Le Cordon Bleu. This comprises three certificates: Basic, Intermediate and Superior. I have studied short courses with several pastry chefs and bakers, including one of South Korea’s most renowned bakers, Wonhee Seo (bakingpapa). In addition, for a couple years I have remotely lead operations of a café in South Korea. This includes conceptualization, design, construction, menu design, training, and oversight of operations. I hold a B.S. in Economics. Surprised? It may seem economics does not match with what I am now interested. However, it does! For example, in economics one may study how to use a little investment to produce a big return. Similarly, in cooking one may use a few carefully selected ingredients to produce a deep and fulfilling taste.
